Competition means a singlet. Everything before it, the warm-up laps, the technical work, the weight room blocks and the long wait between heats, runs better with sleeves, and that is where this jersey fits.

Programs often build one design for the whole squad and separate event groups by sleeve color, so sprinters, throwers, jumpers and distance runners are identifiable across a large infield. The program name goes on the chest, with a name or event on the back.

Most orders land at the start of the outdoor season or ahead of a championship meet, when a team wants a single look on the bus and in the stands. Cross country squads use the same piece through the fall. Single orders cover coaches and late additions.
